Why have I had meat get stuck recently when it hadn't for months?

I am 16 months out from RNY, and for the past 2-3 months, I have had a problem eating meat (chicken, shrimp, pork.) I still try to take small bites, and eat slowly. The food gets stuck, and I'm in pain for hours, and usually vomit several times, though it's usually just foamy stuff. I had that happen back closer to the surgery, but I had months of reprieve. Why is it happening again?
