Science Fair Project Ideas on WLS

My 11 yr old wants to do her first Science Fair project on my surgery. I am wondering if any others had done this or any ideas. I am Honored that she wants to do this but is it over her head and too technical..Ideas..I do not want to shoot her idea down...Thanks
