Will Wal Mart's Short Term Disability cover me for WLS?

I work for Wal Mart. I do not have health insurance through Wal mart but did take their STD and LTD. THey have HUGE exclusions in their health insurances for WLS. I am wondering if they will pay me STD for something that they exclude otherwise?? Any ideas??? Thanks a lot. Thanks
