What type besides prescription for long term use?

I apologize for this repeat question but I cannot find the answer to the original in the datbase!! I want to quit my prescription IRON and asked about an alternative over the counter..Someone posted about a really good vitamin with lots of Iron and vitamins that we need that is at GNC...Please help me again..I am ready to purchase them now...THANKS ahead of time....
