Buying smaller clothes pre-op

I am pre-op, approx 3 months. I am currently a size 30-32 ish. I was in Wal-Mart today and they had some plus size jeans on clearance for $5.00 each. I bought two pairs in size 24 (Wal Mart brand) and one pair of Just my size stretch jeans in size 24 ($11.00). I can just about almost wear size 26 JMS jeans. I was also in the Avenue a couple of months ago and saw some nylon,lined, wind breaker type jackets and matching pants suits, great colors for $19.99 (regularly $59.99). I bought a 26/28 and a 22/24. My job requires jeans tpye clothing so I will need the jeans and can also wear the windbreaker clothes to work. These bargains were just a little too tempting to pass up. Has anyone else bought in anticipation of losing the weight?
