Did anyone have problems PRE-OP with healing?

Ok, here's the deal - for years, I've had problems with slow healing. I've mostly noticed it with skin cuts, etc. For instance, it will take 4-6 weeks (sometimes more) for scrapes and cuts to heal, and I mentioned this to the surgeon during our consult. He said not to be concerned, but that was about it. I AM worried, though...it's always bothered me how long it takes me to heal, and i don't have an explanation as to why. I am hypothyroid, a condition which is (supposedly) under controlled with meds...could that be why? Should i worry? Should i mention it to the surgeon again? Thanks again!
