Anyone get approved on Aetna Cobra...???

This question is being asked for a friend. She currently has Aetna (terrible to deal with & she has to have 5 or 6 months of charted diet history with a DR, she is doing that right now- she's in her 3rd month) anyways, she will be loosing her Aetna insurance due to her husband quiting his job. They plan on keeping the Aetna through Cobra. She is wondering if she will be able to still get surgery through Cobra? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, THANKS A LOT! Even if anyone has had surgery on any Cobra plan, would like to hear from you...
