Does anyone know what the requirements are of the psychiatrist you see?

Do they have to be certified by the AMA or can they also be certified by the CCAA. I have medicaid and i want to make sure i do it right the first time, this is the only thing that is holding me up from getting my surgery. If anyone knows please help.
