I've made up my mind. What now?

I've decided to have WLS surgery, and since I'm self pay, I'll do it in Mexico with Dr. Aguirre where it is much, much cheaper. This Dr. has done over 450 open RNY. I've spoke to people who've gone to him, and they've all spoken very highly about him. However, I don't think he requires all the mental evaluations and testing that Dr's require here. I need to know what I should do to prepare for this event. I know that I need to go to a WLS support meeting...but what else can I do?
