Why do I still have drainage in ?

My wls was on 12/6/02 , I went back to DR and he removed one tube. The one with the bulb on the end. Which you had to dump yourself. That was on 12/12/02. Now It's 1/6/03 and my next appt is on the 16th of this month. and the other tube and all the stitches will be removed. To me it's been to long. the holes are closeing up. and I wonder how he will pull out the tube if skin is growing around it to close hole. I hope I will not get cut again in order to remove this tube.
