My insurance changes in January from Aetna to Cigna--anyone??

I am half way home to approval and my insurance is going to change. My doctor does not take Cigna, so I have found a new doctor. My appointment is Jan 30. Do you think if I get Aeta HMO to approve it by year end, Cigna will have to approve??
