Has anyone had to have osd scar tissue delt with in lower abd. resulting in pain belo

When I had surgery 2 wks ago they said they ran into scar tissie, my insision wound going down to my pelvic bone. Most of my discomfort is in my lower region. Has anyone elese experienced this and can they explain what had to be done that is causing the post-discomfort.
