How much protein can we absorb at one sitting?

I read recently (can't remember if it was here or at OSSG) that we can absorb only so much protein at one meal. Does anyone know how much? For breakfast, I have a sf Carnation Instant Breakfast with two scoops of protein powder (a total of 32 g. of protein) and I was just wondering if it's possible to digest that much protein at one meal. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to drink the whole thing. Thanks!
