Help! I think I have a stoma block.
I'm just about 8 weeks out from my RNY and have finally been able to start meats a week ago. The first day or two went fine, but since then I always throw up when I eat any type of lunch meat (chicken, turkey, roast beef). I'm eating next to nothing because of it (just milk, crackers and sliced cheese). I take small bites, chew thoroughly and eat only 3 times (well-spaced) a day. I thought the chewing might have been the problem, but I've been extra vigilant. So, I deduced that I should probably talk to my doctor about a endoscope. I saw some responses on the procedure, but can anyone else share pain level? And, will I have to take more than the one afternoon off work for this? I don't really have time left. Thanks in advance!
