My sister in law's relative had same surgery with same surgeon

A couple weeks ago my sister in law's sister in law (got that lol) had a lap rny with the same surgeon I am scheduled to have do my surgery on April 27. She has not done well, developing a bad infection and pneumonia. Now my support network is getting nervous and worried about me having my surgery. She is home from the hospital but still fighting infection and the inflated temperatures that go with the infection. I am not afraid to go ahead and still think it is the best thing for me. Guess I just need some words of reassurance and support. I know we are all different, but she is younger, lighter and didn't have the co morbidities that I have. Thanks for bearing with me.
