Embarrassing question...anyone have dry heaves at the same time as having a normal BM

I've looked this up on the message board and can't find anything exactly like this...only dry heaves, but not while having a BM. This has happened to me several times, but last week I was the first time I was really heaving and nothing came out. This was happening while I was in the midst of having a regular BM (not diarrhea. I started feeling so nauseated and then started having dry heaves and thought it would never end. As soon as the BM was finished so did the dry heaves. This has happened before, but it was only slight nausea, not heaving. Anyone else have this happen? If so, did you call the doc? Thanks
