How much protein to drink at one time?

I'm getting mixed messages about how much protein to drink at one time.I'd like to hear how much everyone else is drinking at one time for a meal. How many protein drinks to you have in one day. I was told to have the Carnation Instant Breakfast (sugar free) plus scoop of protein with milk (or lactaid) three times a day. I am 2 weeks post-op (RNY proximal). Thanks.
