How long should I wait to have Bio Ionic hair treatment?

Are there any hair care professionals who are familiar with WLS (open rny) and the Bio Ionic (hair straightening) hair treatment? If so, my question is how long after surgery should I wait before having this treatment? I am not on any medication and am 12 weeks post op. I have asked my surgeons office, they are currently researching. I appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks Liz (open rny -35lbs)
