CAN ANYONE HELP MY NERVES....L.....

I am on a waiting list to have surgery this month and i am so nevious.I keep on thinking something will fall apart and i will not be able to have this surgery.....Its like I cant even believe after all this time I might actully get this done.Alot has to do with my job and insurance,I need to quit this job but i quit then i have no insurance....but i cant stay here no longer with the problems i am having there.another is what if something comes up on my pre addmission testing that would postpone it.some one please help me before i loose my mind......
