Any suggestions on surviving the crushed med pha?

I am 6 days post-op and still need to crush or chew my meds. This is cruel and unusual punishment!! I've tried using sf jello to mix them but there is still the bitter taste. Maybe there isn't anything to do but suffer through this stage. Any suggestions?
