Has anyone dealt with Highmark BlueCross/BlueShield ??

I've heard that some ins. companies give an answer for this type of surgery in a matter of a couple of days, its been alittle over a month and I'm still waiting.When I call they just tell me its before the review board.Does anyone know how long the "review board" takes? And has anyone ever used Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield? Please let me know...I am really excited about getting the surgery...Thanks, Gail
