Any post-ops still have food dreams?
I was really shocked at how well the RNY changed my mental desire for food and my constant thought about food. However, I had an episode yesterday that is kind of scary when I think about it. I had my first piece of pizza post-op yesterday (Papa John's thin crust w/ cheese...yum!). I was so happy that I could actually eat a whole small slice of pizza. It's been so long, and for four months I've literally only been able to eat 4 or 5 bites a meal. Well...last night as I'm lying in bed, I couldn't help but think about that pizza. "When can I have it again? Oh...it tasted soooo good." Etc. I'll was practically in a zone just thinking about that food. Well...I hope it's not something that becomes usual again. But it lead me to wonder how many post-ops experience the same thing. Anyone have a good "dream" story?
