Does anyone suffer from a stomach bulge

I am 8 months post op and as I continue to lose weight I have noticed that directly above my scare I have a bulge which gets bigger as I eat food or consume liquids. Can this be my stomach? I usually do not eat more than 4 to 8 ozs at each meal 2x's daily. The bulge does not hurt or do I have any symptoms of a hernia. I am a little concerned that this is my new stomach. Any ideas would be appreciated.
