Has anyone heard anything about having been approved while on AHCCCS?

AHCCCS is Arizona's welfare healthcare. Has anyone had surgery when on this insurance? My brother is on it and he really needs the surgery. We have to wait a year for disability to kick in. And his kidney's are going fast. Please help! Lisa
