Has anyone ever had any experience with phlebitis?

I am just over 4 wks post op {distal RNY} My legs have been killing me. Throbbing and aching. Not a problem before surgery. Even though I have increased my calcium intake it hasn't seemed to help. My surgeons' nurse called today and left a message for me to see a local Dr. and have him check for phlibitis. {I live 3 1/2 hrs away from GBS} They also called in a RX for another type of calcium. If anyone can help {as so many have done in the past} I woulg greatly appreciate it! This site is my "life-line" Thanks...Dani
