Has anyone got approved after falling short of weight documentation requirement?

I was denied for no other reason than I have to have weight documentation for the past 2 years. I have documentation in 2004 and now 2005. Should I appeal or wait it out until January of 2006? Is there something else I could do? Does anyone have any advice?
