Does anyone know if Mamsi Alliance PPO will cover LAP BAND?

My doctor told me I was a good canidate for the LAP BAND. I'm 27 male, a good dieter and am severely overweight. My BMI is 58. I'm curious to know if anyone has tried to get the LapBand approved through Mamsi Alliance PPO? If so, what did it take for it to happen? Did you get approved? Should I even try for the LapBand or just go for the Bypass? I am in the middle of seeing all the doctors needed for the pre-screening. Thanks for any help. Chad
