Has anyone been approved by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee this year?

My employer's policy has an exclusion for WLS, and I asked them to remove it. When my HR manager called BCBS, she was told 'absolutely not' can the exclusion be removed. BCBS also told her that they are putting this exclusion in ALL policies beginning this year (ours renewed 11/01)! Here my company is willing to change the exclusion for me, but the insurance company won't allow it?? Did the BCBS rep just not know what she was talking about, or is this true? HELP! Ginger
