I am looking to join a fun, enthusiastic, energetic support group,in DALLAS area...?

I am looking to join a active support group,that goes and does stuff alot. I am almost 22 ( june 12) and am just waiting for my insurance approval, should be here with in the next 3 weeks. I just need something to keep me optimistic,and busy til the big day. I know of some groups,but I am kind of nervous about just showing up at one of these things.
