Has anyone changed Insurance Co. after getting approval from present Ins. Co. ?

I was approved for WLS with Unicare Ins. through my husbands employer. I've gone through everything from the seminar to the surgical consultation. Just as I am getting ready to find out my surgery date. My husband's insurance is changing as of June 1st. Weight for Life and the Dr.'s office can't guarantee a surgery date before June 1st. Has this happened to anyone else?????
