8 months postop and severe/occassional abdominal pain

Hi, I am 8 months post op and for the past 4 days straight, I have been having pain on my right side that shoots straight down to my bottom front area. When it happens it feels like I can feel it flowing from side to bottom and it can be very painful. At first, I thought it was gas, but now I am not sure. I do still have my gallbladder. Are these typical symptoms of gallstones or even kidney stones? Please, any friendly advise would be appreciated and I will consult my doctor when they open. Just thought I would elicit the help of my fellow wls family, first. Thanks
