Will I be able to have Lap/gastric bypass surgery if I had hysterectomy surgery?

My surgical consultation date is not until the 29th of this month and I was just curious to find out if anyone knows from their own experience if I would be able to have Lap/surgery. I weigh 245, but I had hysterectomy surgery almost 2 years ago. Your comments would be greatly appreciated.
