How can a person determine bone size to check weight charts,small med, large bone

Are their charts that are used to check bone size to determine you goal weight? I have seen one that measures the elbow width. I have a small wrist and hands,i use to wear a size 5 wedding ring, but i am always compared in the charts to a medium frame for weight, how can i tell body frame size for weight?
