Is it okey to take an enema when you are 5 months post?

I have been having problems going to the bathroom.....The only thing I have in the house is a fleets enema...Is it okey to use it when you are post op Open RNY?and do I use the whole thing?....I know I read in the library where some have used them post op but I wasn't sure if I should use the whole enema....I have got to have some relief....Called the nurse today but she hasn't returned my call.....So could it be safe just this one time??....Thanks for your help on this horrid but painful subject......(((((HUGS))))
