Why can't I get a definitive answer from anybody? DESPERATE...

I am getting conflicting information from my insurance company...I got one denial saying that it was because of the exclusion (obesity not morbid obesity) and one says that an independent physician will be looking into as part of the appeal process. I can't get my employer to committ to anything yet either. I have provided them with ADA information and my intention not to let this go. What now? Please help! I need this surgery desperately!
