How much do i need to eat?

I am 9 days post op and i am a bit confused, the books i have say my pouch is 1/2 oz however the soft diet menu i was also given shows eating more than an 1/2 oz at this time i am only able to eat a bite or two each meal. And i noticed that after the 8th week i need to go by the basic four food group plan, are most people able to the eat the recommended servings per day? I am worried due to the fact i do not want to strech my pouch out. But from what i have researched at one point of time i will be able to enjoy a small child's plate? has anybody experienced this? Any help will be wonderful. Thank you
