My husband had WLS in Feb. and was taken to the ER for stroke like symptoms...

Help! My husband is post op since Feb. and was taken to the ER for Conversion Dissorder/Depression. It came out as a stroke. How do I motivate him? How is taking Remeron going to help? He has lost the use of his Left foot so walking is not an option right now and he is so Damned depressed that he can't get out of his own way. Any advice?
