Why the HECK did my surgeon cut thru my old WLS scar?

Hi ya'll im a light weight and just now have gained back to my orginal 260lbs and had a revision from Open VBG to Open RnY. My surgeon even said he would cut "OUT" my old scar but he didn't. I am buddies with another WLS Pt of his who had surgery the SAME day and she too was a WLS revision and guess what. SHE too had her incision cut THRU her old scar. its ugly and it makes us both made cause he told her as well that Yes, he cuts the old scar out. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR anyone have a clue? I aint EVEN seen his ... since hospital he lets his PA take over after that...grrr
