Those of you who had hernia and or T/T...

I will be having hernia repar, T/T and gall bladder removal the 25th of this month. I seemed so at piece with my RNY. Did you ever feel like you were "pressing your luck?" I am not terribly frightened, but wonder if there is less to worry about with these procedures in general, compared to a distal RNY.
