If you have portal hypertension and NASH will anyone do this surgery.

I had low platelates so they did a cat scan found I had enlarged spleen and fatty liver. After all my testing they set me up for surgery. Would do bypass later. Well my spleen weighed 10lbs and the size of a football. Also found that I have portal hypertension and NASH. They did a biopsy it confirmed this diagnoses but not the stage. My liver enzymes were fine. No results with blood test. My doctor now says I am too high a risk for this surgery. One doctor felt I may be in end stages. Does end stage last long. Please help.
