How Soon After Lap can you start Yoga classes?

I currently take yoga, and can hardly wait for the day when I lose weight and am able to achieve some of the positions that my lighter classmates can achieve. My surgery is in 1 week, and I was wondering when I should be able to start up yoga classes again.
