Has anyone had surgery AFTER having a heart attack and open heart surgery?

I have had both and want to know if I am just kidding myself thinking I'm going to get this surgery approved. I'm not trying to get insurance to approve yet I'm trying to get surgeon and cardiologist to say yes.
