Why do I just dry heave and only mucous content comes back up

never the food that made me sick in the first place. Im wondering if my anastomosis of my Open RNY is bigger than it should be and things are going straight into my small intestine without being digested properly. I also tend to get sick in the evenings more than any other time. I can eat the same thing i eat in the evening and the same amount but will get sick and dry heave and have to lay down. Never get diarrhea though. Just wondering if this is normal sometimes i wish i could throw up the food I think it would help me feel better faster but it never comes back up. What do ya think has anyone else experienced such. Thanks
