How long did it take to get approved by Aetna USHC HMO?

Please help! I am about to have a nervous breakdown! I have read on this site that that staff at Surgical Associates in NYC was careless with documentation, and I have experienced it first hand. Anyway, I am three weeks away from surgery and need that approval QUICKLY! Anyone have any encouraging words for me? Is there anyone I can beg or bribe at Aetna to rush this along? Thanks
