Any last minute advice for my rapidly approaching surgery day?

I am haveing surgery on July 24th, 2000 at the VA. Commanwealth Univ. Hosp. My surgeon will be Dr. John Kellum. I am haveing a revision surgery from a vertical banded gastroplasty to a RNY. I went to my preop day yesterday and it really hit me that this is actually going to happen. I am starting to get anxious and nervous. Any advice for me. I am sure I will not sleep any the nite before at all. Right now I have a dry scratchy throat and cough. I am chugging the cough medicine and trying to feel really good. Don't want to mess up my surgery date. Help Please!!
