Not really a question, but info for those in KC,MO area

Hi. wanted to relate some information that I think is very important to anyone else in the KC,MO area who is considering surgery. I found out after being initially rejected by my insurance that the teaching hospital, Truman West, where Dr. Greg Tsiotos is performing WLS, will allow payment arrangements for self pay. If you live in the same county (jackson), they will even base it from your income. I hope this information will come of use to others like me who may not be able to get approval from their insurance. I am still fighting with them, and will do so till I have exhausted all efforts. However, it gives me peace of mind to know that they are not my sole option!
