Self Employed / High Premiums?

A while back, I was searching a way to lower my insurance premium, because my family coverage had gone up to $667.00 a month. We are self-employed. Well, thought this may help someone else. I dropped my children off the policy, and got them covered on Medicaid. It is easy to get your children on Medicaid, but not yourself. Then, I raised the deductible a little higher. Now my premium is 324.00 per month for my husband and me. Hope that helps someone out there that has a high premium, and can not change policies due to having WLS.
