Is the drug Lamisil safe to take 3 weeks before Gas.Bypass.surgery?

I got a kitten for my son & it had ringworm.My son & I both got it.I went to the Dr.yesterday & he gave me a prescription for Lamisil.My surgery is 11-30-04.I will finish the prescription 4 days before surgery.Can anyone PLEASE tell me if it is safe to be taking before surgery???
