Will surgeon remove skin before I reach goal?

My stomach and arms already hang a lot and I can't imagine having to wait another year or more to have skin removed. Can I have some skin removed before goal then later have actual plastic surgery with all the tightening and pretty stuff? I've heard of some overweight people have their apron removed...no WLS.
