Help, I have a cold and a thyroid disorder..........

What can I take. The pharmicist told me prior to my WLS to take coricidin HP because it's safe for people with a thyroid problem, however, I know that post WLS I cannot take it. I'm 6 weeks post op and I am miserable with a sinus headache and cold and I don't know what I can take..Please help.
